Hygrochilus is a single species genus.
Meaning there is only one species of
Hygrochilus. It's often confused with
Vandopsis parishii, but this species has a
hinged lip that moves when disturbed. It is
native to Assam, Yunnan, Bhutan,
Myanmar, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam.
Often blooming with multiple flowers along
a pendant inflorescence with as many as
1-4 inflorescence per blooming season.
Plants offered here are starter plants on
3-4 inch cork slabs.
