Plant provides the ants with a home (the swollen base of the plant) and the ants
protect the plant from grazers. Not to worry - these plants won't attract ants here in
the US. (Not that we've heard of) and they grow really well if kept watered and in
bright, indirect light.
The plants offered here are of two varieties. Hydnophytum simplex is grown in a
3-inch mesh pot while the smaller, Mymecodia echinata plants are in 2-inch mesh
pots.
